How WWE Landed WrestleMania XXIV, SD! Rating, Big Show On Time Off

– There is an article in today’s Orlando Sentinel that talks about how the city landed this year’s WrestleMania. The process started with Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer making a visit to WWE headquarters in Connecticut. According to the article, WWE officials wanted to hold the event at first at the Amway Center, but later decided that they wanted to hold it in a large football stadium. – This past Friday night’s edition of SmackDown did a 2.8 broadcast rating. That number is right in line with what the show has been doing in recent weeks. The final number will be out next week.

– WWE.com has an in-character interview now online with The Big Show talking about his return. The only comments that were spoken out of character were when he spoke about stepping away from the business. Show commented, “When I left WWE, I was pretty banged up, pretty hurt, pretty burned out,” Show said. “I had time to completely step away, do some introspection, look at my life, take care of myself and get healthy.
